Kaspersky Lab announces that Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 has been voted 'The Best' by readers of the leading Romanian IT magazines, CHIP and XtremPC
Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions, announces that Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 has been voted 'The Best’ by readers of the leading Romanian IT magazines, CHIP and XtremPC. The surveys were initiated by the two magazines in order to identify the best hardware and software products of 2009.
Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 was voted 'Security Software Product of the Year 2009’ in the software category, receiving a higher score than rival developers such as Norton Internet Security 2009 and 2010, and ESET Smart Security 4.
"For the second year running, Kaspersky Internet Security has been chosen as 'Product of the Year’ by readers of both CHIP and XtremPC," said Teodor Cimpoeşu, Managing Director of Kaspersky Lab Romania and Bulgaria. Statistically, it has been demonstrated that vulnerabilities in operating systems and trusted applications are often exploited by hackers to attack applications that make use of the Internet.
